Wednesday W-I-P

I've always enjoyed looking when other blogs did a Wednesday w-i-p (work-in-progress), and so I decided to unashamedly copy the idea. :) I just started working on this last week for a friend who is having twins later in the year. Since she is having twins, that means I need to make 2 of these quilts which means 24 individual squares. Mum kindly offered to help me, so hopefully I shall move through it slightly faster.

This is my first one - now if you use your imagination, you should be able to picture in the big blue blob on the left Mother Rabbit. The big pink blob in the middle are Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail, and the small blue blob on the right is Peter. Can you picture it?? :)

This is the back of the pattern with the 12 different squares that we need to make. I'll continue to keep you updated on my progress, thoughy probably not every week - that could get very boring!!!

Stay tuned for next week's w-i-p - it will probably be something Christmassy!

  1. Whoa Caitlin, you are one brave woman doing this much cross stitch (even with help this is a lot, to me at least)!!!

Having two little girls who love Beatrix Potter, I recognised the Rabbit family straight away, LOL. It looks great already.
